Parents' Association meets to connect, have fun, and explore ways to support students
September 10, 2025
The Parents’ Association launched its first meeting of the school year on September 9, with an engaged group of 25 parents coming together in the Sunberg Leadership Center at CDH. The room was full of questions, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to creating a memorable year for students and families.
PA President Amy Perry welcomed both returning and new parents, encouraging everyone to get involved:
"This is a wonderful way to get involved and meet new parents. We welcome all parents and we love new and fresh ideas for our events. Your support makes a real difference."
Ryan Pacyga (Vince, freshman) was present for the meeting and echoed that excitement:
"Being around a group of parents that are committed to helping our students and staff enjoy the school year is energizing. We’re fortunate to have a Parent’s Association that is so engaged with the CDH community, and I look forward to participating and paying it forward."

Spotlight on the Grandparents’ Association
A branch of the PA, the Grandparents’ Association brings a unique spirit of service and support to the CDH community. From First Day of School Morning Donuts to Valentine’s Day treats, this group has become a vital part of student life.
One of their newest initiatives, “Prayer Warriors for CDH,” offers a quiet moment of reflection each month. Grandparents are invited to gather for silent prayer on the First Friday of every month at 1pm in the CDH chapel, followed by volunteer updates. The next gathering will be Friday, October 3, 1pm.
