Presenting First-Ever CDH Theater Movie
February 10, 2021
How do you create theater in a pandemic? Creatively!
She Kills Monsters is the first-ever CDH Theater movie. It was created both on Zoom and the CDH green screen and masterfully edited by filmmaker John TerEick '11.
"We were forced to be so creative with our winter show, and it really caused us to rethink what we can do," said Theater Director Katie Kreitzer. "It's a gift in a way, to have to shift your direction - and I hope our students are proud that they were able to make this movie."
The show opens Friday and is available to stream from your home February 5-19.
She Kills Monsters is a comedic romp into the world of dungeons and dragons laden with fairies, nasty ogres and '90s pop culture. Playwright Qui Nguyen plays homage to the geek within all of us.
