Seniors' Artwork Receive Minnesota Scholastic Arts Awards

The University of Minnesota Department of Art hosts annual exhibitions in the Regis West Gallery including the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards in recognition of K-12 artistic talent across the state of Minnesota.
Senior Katie Mattocks submitted a large scale self-portrait pencil drawing and was selected as a Gold Key winner.
Senior Dominic Marrone submitted a number of digital photos. He was a Silver Key winner for "Escape" (pictured) and was Honorable Mention for "After the Storm" and "The Nightlight."
All artwork will be on display at the Regis West Gallery on the University of Minnesota campus from January 30 to February 17, 2018.
