Seniors Present their Action/Advocacy Project
May 7, 2018
The final project for each Seminar student before graduation is the Senior [Big] Action/Advocacy Project (BAP). BAP is a self-initiated project developed with support and feedback from their peers and teachers. By taking responsibility for their own learning and performance, students will gain the skills and talents to succeed in their post-secondary studies and activities.
Students research a social problem, interview experts and advocates in the field, and develop a solution at a local level to make a sustainable difference. The final component of this project is to present their findings to a panel of adults.
Other topics for this year included global hunger, access to clean water, and Alzheimer’s.
