Stephen Johnson '20 Earns Eagle Scout Ranking
April 15, 2020
Stephen Johnson '20 recently earned his Eagle Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America. The Eagle Scout award, the highest award given to a Boy Scout, is the culmination of a ten-year commitment to service, leadership, and citizenship. The final component of this achievement is to utilize and demonstrate leadership skills by developing and completing a final Eagle Project which benefits the community.
His Board of Review, the final step in the qualification process, was held via Zoom on April 2.
Stephen’s project involved the repair and landscaping of a path on the grounds at the Catholic Community of Saint Odilia, where Stephen and his family have been parishioners for many years. This beautiful path is used to connect the parish grounds to the priest’s residence, and to serve as a place of respite for the residents and visitors at the St. Therese Palliative Care Home.
Stephen is a member of Troop 9626, which is chartered by the Catholic Community of Saint Odilia.
Congratulations, Stephen!
