Students Honored with Book Awards
October 13, 2020
Book Awards are given each spring to distinguished junior students based on the hard work they have put in at Cretin-Derham Hall. They were selected for these awards based on their stellar academic performances in addition to strong character and involvement in school and community. The award was delayed this year until the fall of senior year, but still acknowledges students who were exceptional in their junior year.
The students honored received books from Harvard, Yale, and Dartmouth Universities.
Avery Fowler '21 was given a copy of The Confluence by David Van Wie, Phil Odence, Norm Richter, Bob Chamberlain, Ed Baldrige, David Klinger, and Bill Conway
Xuan An Le '21 was given a copy of On Color by David Scott Kastan and Stephen Farthing
Lauren Loeffler '21 was given a copy of Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari
Well done, Raiders!
