Students Launch Literary Magazine
May 13, 2021
After launching last year, the Creative Writing Club has met regularly, both virtually and in person, to get feedback on their writing and work on creative projects. This spring, they decided to publish a collection of their work in a literary magazine.
The magazine, titled "Annual Anthropology," features poetry, drawings, personal essays, and other art. The publications will be handed out to English teachers to share with their classes, with additional copies left around campus to be perused.
"It's all about young people writing from their own perspective," said Cecilia Shearon '21, one of the leaders of the project. "We hope everyone reads it."
The club plans to publish another volume next school year.
