Thank You for Investing in Our Students

Thanks to our CDH community, we had a very successful GiveCDH Day!  Alumni, parents, and donors invested $979,972 in critical tuition assistance, merit scholarships and facilities improvements, while allowing us to meet every challenge throughout the giving period! 

The Griep Challenge of $100,000 and the Wingerd Power Hour of $50,000 proved especially effective as it enabled donors to double the impact of their investment in our mission. The Cretin and Derham Hall Classes of 1969 led the way with the most donors. Other highlights include:

• GiveCDH Day motivated two of our younger alums to pledge their largest-ever gifts to scholarships and tuition assistance in the spirit of paying it forward to the next generation of Raiders.  
• One donor made a planned gift, by naming CDH in their will as a beneficiary.
• Our alumni community really stepped up and contributed $842,634 of our total!

"CDH is stronger today because of your generosity to GiveCDH Day," noted Jeb Myers, President.  "Our community came together to make sure that CDH is accessible for all who want a Catholic, college preparatory education, and that we are able to replace and improve our well-used facilities that students use on a daily basis." 

The energy on GiveCDH Day inspired many members of our community to join in to support the Campaign for Raider Excellence which addresses essential tuition assistance and scholarships, making CDH accessible to families from all backgrounds.  This campaign also addresses the need to upgrade key campus facilities that impact our students’ daily experience and are nearing the end of their functional lifespan.

Our goal of $11 million for the Campaign for Raider Excellence is in reach!
