Two Brothers Earn Eagle Scout Rank, Continuing a Family Legacy
May 8, 2025
Isaac Andrzejek ’25 and Joseph Andrzejek ’27 recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout - the highest honor in Scouting.
Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is no small feat. Scouts must earn at least 21 merit badges - including 13 required ones - serve in leadership roles, plan and complete a community-benefiting Eagle project, and pass a final Board of Review. All requirements must be completed before the scout's 18th birthday. Fewer than 8% of Scouts nationwide attain this prestigious rank.
For his Eagle project, Isaac organized and led a Flag Retirement Ceremony that honored 29 worn and weathered American flags. The event was carried out with the support of Troop 524 and cadets from the CDH JROTC program, ensuring the flags were retired respectfully and in keeping with tradition.
Joseph focused his efforts on community service through the Coon Rapids Youth Baseball Organization. His project involved repairing, sanding, and painting 10 picnic tables, creating a more welcoming and comfortable space for players and their families to gather.
Isaac and Joseph’s dedication, service, and leadership reflect the core values of Scouting and continue a proud legacy in the Andrzejek family, with all five brothers now having earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
