Two Students Earn Scholastic Art Awards
February 9, 2022
Every year, the Scholastic Art Awards honor talented young writers and artists. This year, Minyu Zhou '22 and Collett Akins '23 both received Honorable Mentions.
The student's work was recognized by a panel of creative professionals as the most outstanding work submitted among high school peers. Since 1923, the Awards have recognized some of America’s most celebrated artists and writers while they were teenagers, including Tschabalala Self, Stephen King, Kay WalkingStick, Charles White, Joyce Carol Oates, and Andy Warhol. We are proud to count Minyu and Collette among these esteemed Scholastic Awards alumni!
