Welcoming Frances Weyrauch
January 5, 2021
We are happy to welcome Frances Weyrauch to the CDH Science department! Get to know her below, and make sure to say hello if you see her on campus!
What classes are you teaching this trimester?
I'm teaching Advanced Biology, College Prep Biology, and DNA & Forensics.
Where did you go to school?
I went to high school at Totino-Grace and college at St. Ben's. I just finished student teaching at Holy Angels.
Why did you decide to be a Science teacher?
I've always loved science. I thought about going down the medical path, but I discovered that I loved teaching, and being part of those "aha" moments for students.
Why did you want to teach at a Catholic school?
I really enjoyed the values Catholic education imparts. You get a lot more than curriculum - I find that Catholic schools really embrace teaching the whole student.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy knitting, playing sports, reading, and walking my roommate's dog!
Thanks, Frances! Welcome to CDH!
