CDH Adoration
Where is Adoration?
Blessed Brother James Miller Chapel
Cretin-Derham Hall
What is Adoration?
Adoration is a way to spend time with Christ when the Eucharist is exposed on the altar.
What do I do during Adoration?
You really don’t have to “do” anything during Adoration. You can just sit there, pray in silence, and be with God. This is your personal time with Christ.
How can I participate?
Sign up for one hour to participate on Fri., Feb. 2, 8 am – 2 pm. You can use the below Signup Genius link or contact Jennifer Grenardo or 713-213-7322. All are welcome.
When and Where do I go?
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time and enter the school through the Activity Center doors on Albert Street. Check in at the attendance office and let them know you are there for Eucharistic Adoration. Proceed up to the chapel and enter quietly. You are free to leave at the end of your hour after the next person arrives. If for any reason your hour of time is up and no one arrives, as emergencies can happen, please cover the Blessed Sacrament and the Monstrance holding it with the provided shroud/cloth at which time you may depart. In addition, please let the Attendance Office know that you are leaving and ask them to inform someone in Campus Ministry about your departure. Also note, that religion teachers often bring their classes in for Adoration, please remain there with the class if it happens during your hour as the classes often only stay a short time.
Thank you for being a part of this ministry. Many blessings!
