Baseball Team Celebrated Undefeated Season
August 21, 2018
Nearly 20 years to the day, members of the 1998 CDH Baseball Team celebrated the school’s only undefeated season with a reunion at a Twins game on Friday, June 1, 2018. The ’98 squad was part of a streak that saw CDH win three state championships with 66 games in a row, the second-longest winning streak in U.S. high school baseball history. The “greatest high school baseball team in MN history” — the 1998 Raiders — had 350 hits, including 50 home runs, 87 doubles, 337 runs, and 290 RBIs for a .437 average batting average (all state records that still stand).
