CDH Students Volunteer at Wilder Foundation with Leap Forward for Children
October 12, 2018
Leap Forward for Children, one of the many Campus Ministry initiatives, encourages students to spend a day at Wilder Foundation's Child Development Center and truly touch the heart of a child through play, reading, arts and crafts, and just good fun.
The first "Leap" of the year was in September with 12 CDH students who became “human jungle gyms” for the children who wanted nothing more than a friend to play with and learn from.
CDH students have the opportunity to get involved each month. Most students who have had the opportunity to volunteer at Wilder have been touched by how much joy the children get from meeting new friends. Please contact Mr. Peter Gleich if you have questions or want to spend a day at Wilder Foundation's Child Development Center.
