Alumni Gather at the Inaugural ONE CDH Alumni Event

The inaugural ONE CDH Event was a night of celebration for ALL alumni and was the result of many years of planning to bring alumni together from all three schools: Cretin, Derham Hall, and Cretin-Derham Hall!
Over 300 alumni enjoyed the long legacy of spirit and pride in our school that they share when they gathered on campus as one group for the first time on September 15.
The ONE Alumni Video highlighted stories alumni coming together out of their shared love of CDH. Thank you to Norma Carrera-Perez '18 for participating in the video and presenting it at the event.
Congratulations to the Derham Hall and Cretin Classes of ‘60, ‘61, ‘62, ‘70, ‘71, ‘72 and the CDH Classes of ‘95, ‘96, ‘97 who were recognized for their generosity and support of our school. They represented the 60th, 50th, and 25th year reunion classes (COVID-19 prevented reunions during actual anniversary years for some of these classes so all were recognized this year.)
The program also included the debut of the new “Cretin-Derham Hall Alumni Anthem." Thank you to members of the Cretin Class of ‘57 for this production. Mike Murphy ‘57 composed the music and lyrics and the original video production was by Joe Ferraro ‘57.
The Cretin-Derham Hall community celebrated the past, present, and future of our alumni as we joined the J.R.O.T.C. students and sang the CDH Rouser together: “Hail CDH, Let’s Go!”
Honorary Alumni Awards
The first Honorary Alumni Awards were presented to respected leaders from our CDH community: former faculty member Pat Norusis and former president Richard Engler. These awards are given to people in the Cretin-Derham Hall community who have been shining examples of dedication to students, staff, and faculty. In addition, their commitment to the school goes beyond the time they spent in our hallways. CDH now counts them among our beloved alumni.
Thanks to all of the alumni for their participation in the program, especially Steve Walsh ‘85, Becki Medellin ‘88, Megan Fee Smith ‘00, the Alumni Board and the ONE CDH Committee.
