Everett Arnold '66

Retired Teacher and Principal, Red Lake Indian District

Everett has been a public school educator for 43 years. He has impacted young people's lives as a teacher, coach, counselor, mentor, and administrator. He has worked in urban, rural, and tribal schools. Upon his retirement, he has continued his passion for working in underperforming school districts, including Detroit, Miami, Arizona, and Minneapolis.

Megan Fee Smith '00

Educator

Megan has worked in a variety of academic and professional roles and she seeks out innovative methods to enhance the educational experiences of students in the classroom. She believes a teacher has an obligation to engage every student to be a lifelong learner. Her goal is to build literacy through critical thinking skills within a classroom community.

Cynthia Laramy Ahler '68

Semi-Retired Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Educator

Most of Cynthia’s career was in public health with education as a major component. She spent several years conducting continuing education seminars for RNs; Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Professionals; MD interns and residents; and other city and county professionals all over the state for the Minnesota Department of Health.

Ben Tierney '98

Director of Instruction and Director of the Middle School, Visitation

Ben spent his first year out of college translating for medical clinics in Guatemala and then formally began his career in education as a Teach for America Corps Member. After earning his Ph.D. in Science Education and Climatology at the University of Minnesota, Ben worked as a professor at the University of Wisconsin.
