A CDH Graduate is the Sum of Many, Many Beautiful Parts

October 26, 2022

GiveCDH Day is our most important fundraising event at Cretin-Derham Hall.

Alumni, parents, friends, and faculty/staff of CDH join together to provide gifts that help keep tuition affordable for all our students and families. Over 26% of the budget at CDH is covered by our donors.

Anne Dougherty, parent and faculty member at CDH, knows how important this campaign is for our students and our school. She has a son who graduated from CDH last year and two current CDH students. This year, she joined the faculty as an Entrepreneurship and Business teacher.

Meet Anne Dougherty

What should our students and families know about you?

I have 5 wonderful children - my oldest graduated from CDH last year. I’m a serial entrepreneur - I’ve raised venture capital, founded a nonprofit, and most recently, my family reopened a historic resort in northern Minnesota.

Why did you choose to work at CDH?

I love the CDH community and I’m excited about developing opportunities for entrepreneurship and innovation here.

Why do you donate to CDH?

CDH fosters all parts of student life - not only the love of learning, but also the joy in being part of a team, the ambition of big dreams, and the call to be faithful leaders in the world.

A CDH graduate is the sum of many, many beautiful parts.

Every student should have access to a CDH education no matter their financial need. Our future engineers, software developers, educators, contractors, lawyers, artists and medical professionals will benefit from the whole child learning that CDH provides.

As a parent and faculty member at Cretin-Derham Hall, I want CDH to thrive for years and decades to come. That’s why I continue to donate.
