CDH Receives Honors for Two Musicals

For the first time in CDH history, the theater department will be sending TWO musicals to the State Theater for Hennepin Theater Trust's Spotlight Showcase! (She Loves Me and In the Heights)

The following honors were given to CDH for In the Heights:

Outstanding Overall Performance
Outstanding Ensemble Performance
Outstanding Dance Ensemble
Outstanding Technical Crew

Individual Awards were given to:

Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role: 
Ninth Grader Ema Schuld as Nina Rosario
Sophomore Will Dusek as Usnavi
Senior Tavish McGreevy as Benny
Senior Julia Diaz as Vanessa

Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role:
Junior Francel Colon Acosta as Camila Rosario

Honorable Mention for a Performance in a Leading Role
Junior Grace Regala as Abuela Claudia

Honorable Mention for Performance in a Supporting Role:
Junior Maricella Swanson as Daniella
Junior Isaiah Sullivan as Kevin Rosario
Senior Alan Sevilla as Sonny

Technical Leadership Nomination:
Sophomore Andrew Theisen (Stage Management)

These honors were given to CDH for She Loves Me:
