Twelve members of the CDH Boys Basketball and Football programs were invited to spend the morning of December 3 at Mauer Chevrolet in Inver Grove Heights assembling bicycles to be donated to Toys for Tots Twin Cites.

"Anytime Mauer Chevrolet is looking for volunteers, the Cretin-Derham Hall community seems to always raise their hand to help." said Tony Leseman, Personnel Specialist at Mauer Chevrolet. "Our annual Bike Build, which consists of building and donating 500 bikes to Toys for Tots was no different. We had a dozen CDH student-athletes volunteer and they were nothing short of being respectful, hardworking, and incredibly helpful."

The event was a big success and Leseman was impressed by the overall efficiency of the operation. "We built 500 bikes in 3 hours! Without a doubt, our bike build would not have been as successful without their help. Thank you CDH!"
