Five Band Members Participate in Honor Concert

Five of CDH's finest musicians in grades 9 and 10 participated in the MBDA (Minnesota Band Directors’ Association) 9-10 Honor Band concert at Farmington High School on January 12, 2019. The concert included students from the southeastern region of Minnesota who were nominated and accepted on the strength of their accomplishments. After being accepted to participate in the 9-10 Honor Band, students received music to prepare ahead of time before gathering for one day of rehearsals before the concert.

Congratulations to Lauren Loeffler ’21, Marie Evenson ’21, George Weber ’21, Elena Reinboldt ’22, and Cecilia Dusek ’21!  George Weber also had a solo on one of the pieces. 

It was a great opportunity for these students, an impressive concert, and a tribute to the strength of the younger CDH musicians.
