Great Showing at the Upper Midwest JROTC Challenge
February 12, 2020
On February 7, the JROTC program hosted the Upper Midwest JROTC Challenge. Fourteen schools with about 350 students were in the building competing in four major competitions.
The CDH cadets were responsible for running the competition.
They did an outstanding job dealing with the unexpected while working as a team to achieve the goal," said Lieutenant James Fischer.
While CDH is not eligible for the overall championship, we did very well this year, earning two first-place trophies.
Congratulations to our first place Regulation Drill team: Martha Enestvedt '21, Ellie Dougherty '20, Rylie Cormell '21, Karina Keis '22, Ben Weber '22, Laura Evenson '22, Sean Xiong '21, Sam Andrzejek '21, and Steffen Xiong '23.
Our Fitness team of Mike Walsh '20, Laz Carrera-Perez '21, Marselio Mendez '21, Cage Linton '21, Sofia Heer '22, Anna Zastrow '22, Nikoli Fitzgerald '23, and Jeff Cragg '23 also earned first place.
