Mona PassmanFrank MileyDear Parents and Guardians,

About a month ago, our school building filled up again with most students returning to full in-person learning. It’s not quite back to “normal,” but the busier hallways and human connections with our students have reinvigorated our love for this community.

We continue to be so proud of our students, who have made so many adjustments over the past year as we shifted between online school, hybrid school, and multiple different schedules. They have proven themselves resilient and adaptable.

We are blessed by the dedication of our faculty, who adjusted their teaching once again to best educate their students in this new model, while continuing to teach on Zoom for students learning from home.

This pandemic has brought challenges that we could not have imagined a couple of years ago. It hasn’t been easy for any of us, and it’s not over yet. However, it has proven that CDH is steadfast in its mission. We can adjust to any limitations, pivot quickly to new modes of learning, and continue to provide an exceptional educational experience.

To our faculty and staff — thank you. It’s an honor working with such dedicated educators every day. This wouldn’t have been possible without you.

To our students who have returned to the building — seeing you on campus each and every day brings joy to all of us.  Thank you for doing your part to keep our COVID numbers low and spirits up.

To our students who are continuing to learn from home — school is not the same without you! We miss you, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to campus in the future.

To our families — your support over the past year has meant the world to us. Thank you for trusting us to care for your children.

As we gear up for the end of a unique school year, we are excited to honor the Class of 2021, a historic class that has shown grace and flexibility at every turn. Plans are underway for graduation, prom, and other milestone events; we will keep you informed as soon as we know more.

Sincerely,

Frank Miley, President, and Mona Passman, Principal
