Potential Raiders Explore Co-Curriculars

December 21, 2021

The Admissions office held two special events earlier this month to showcase Fine Arts and Athletics. Potential Raiders and their families were invited to come learn about some of the myriad activities available for our students. At the Fine Arts night, potential students learned about the performing arts and studio arts, while the Athletics night included booths from every team.

"Families and students that are interested in CDH place the highest priority on academic success, and CDH is committed to developing students intellectually through our expansive curriculum and dedicated teachers," said Admissions Director Sean Van Gemert '96. "They're also passionate about co-curricular opportunities. At CDH, 96% of all students participate in at least one activity outside of the classroom.  This leads to a better overall experience and more success in the classroom. We wanted to ensure our families knew about all the great opportunities available here."

More than 150 people attended these two events. We were proud to show off the high quality of co-curricular programming available here at CDH.

"Prospective families and students are continually amazed by the amount of offerings CDH is committed to in both Fine Arts and Athletics," said Van Gemert. "In addition, the passion and experience each of our leaders of these programs displays on a daily basis in the effort to educate the whole student is inspiring."

There's still time to apply for the Class of 2026. Learn more here.
