Raider Named a Semi-Finalist in National Merit Scholarship Program

Congratulations to Michael Loeffler '24, who is a semi-finalist in the National Merit Scholarship program! The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state.

In addition to his academic achievements, Michael is actively involved in various extracurricular activities at CDH. He participates in Robotics, Band, Orienteering, Model UN, Link Crew and the Empty Bowls Leadership Team.

Some of Michael's favorite classes include AP Computer Science, AP Physics, and AP Calculus. He intends to major in Engineering or Computer Science. 

For students preparing to take the PSAT, Michael offers valuable advice. He suggests taking practice tests to become familiar with the question format and recommends not stressing excessively while ensuring a good night's sleep to perform at their best.
