Registration: Exciting Updates in 2024/2025 Course Offerings

The registration process for our current students is set to take place in January and we are excited to expand our diverse range of study programs. Students will receive their materials this week, allowing them a few weeks to explore options and seek guidance from parents and teachers. Online registration for grades 9-11 will open at the end of the month, while incoming 9th-grade registration is scheduled for Thursday, March 2.

Some of the department and course changes are noted below:

Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Our business department is undergoing a transformation.  Click here for more information on the new program known as CDH NEXT: Entrepreneurship and Innovation.  

Our 2024/2025 Entrepreneurship and Innovation course offerings are:

  • Entrepreneurial Mindsets
  • Marketing and Storytelling
  • Management and Innovation
  • Advanced Entrepreneurship
  • Financial Literacy
  • NEXT Internship

STEAM

We are introducing a new interdisciplinary STEAM course, Manufacturing Arts, which will be eligible for Fine Arts Credit.

Other Noteworthy Additions and Changes

  • AP African American Studies.  (Social Studies) This new class brings our CDH AP course count to eighteen, which includes six Social Studies AP offerings.
  • Printmaking 2 and Printmaking 3. (Fine Arts) Expands our Printmaking course series 
  • Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry.  (formerly "Math Topics") This is a senior-level math course with a revised curriculum 
  • Biology Course offerings have been realigned into College Prep, Advanced, and AP Biology, following an in-depth departmental study (Science)
