Students Advance in History Day Competition

Update: State Competition

Eleven CDH students representing seven projects participated in the State History Day Competition this past Saturday. This group is among the top 6 percent of the thousands participating in Minnesota History Day this year!

Three of these students advanced to the final round and earned awards. They are: 

Xinyu (Alice) Su ‘26 - Research Paper - Honorable Mention - The Developing Labor Movement and Changing Confrontation Between Labor and Capital in Different Periods of Society: Watching the Labor Movement Adapt and Impact Development of Society

Holly Johnson ‘26 - Individual Documentary - Honorable Mention - Turning Point For Women’s Service In The Military

Grace Nickel ‘25 and Emily Boss ‘25 - Group Website - Honorable Mention - Dorothea Lang: Turning Points in Photojournalism
