Students Attend Spring Model UN Conference

The Spring Model UN Conference was held on March 6 at Macalester College. The following topics and committees were covered in this year's conference:

UNDP - Investing in Safe Migration Pathways

ECOSOC - Fostering Economic Growth for Small Island Developing States (SIDS), Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs)

Security Council 2 (Advanced) - The Future of the Taliban

Model United Nations is an educational simulation and academic competition in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. Model UN involves and teaches research, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
