December 2, 2016

CDH Junior Michael Burke Jr. and Seniors Noel Busse and Thomas Sheehan have received the Eagle Scout Award, the highest advancement award the Boy Scouts of America offers to scouts. They join the ranks of only 4% of scouts nationally who receive this award. Our CDH community congratulates these three young men on their achievement.

Michael BurkeMichael is a member of Troop 82 at Holy Spirit Church. He will be honored formally at an Eagle Court of Honor at Holy Spirit Church in January 2017. Michael served as Den Chief and Patrol Leader, was selected to attend Grey Wolf Leadership Training, achieved Order of the Arrow status and received The Paul Lebens Scout of the Year Award. In addition to completing the 21 Eagle Scout required badges, Michael created a prayer and meditation garden on the Holy Spirit Campus for his Eagle Scout Project.
