Tune In for Live Streams of Winter Sports

January 11, 2021

Winter sports have resumed, with limited spectators. However, all Raider fans can enjoy a number of winter sport contests remotely via live streaming.

Live Streams Available Through PrepSpotlightTV

PrepSpotlightTV provides live streams of CDH games and meets. Single games are available for purchase for $6.99, or a season subscription for a number of Cretin-Derham Hall contests (Boys’ Basketball, Girls’ Basketball, Boys’ Hockey, Girls’ Hockey) is available for $59.99.

The live stream arrangement is done in partnership with MSHSL and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) guidance.

“CDH and PrepSpotlight have partnered to keep our community involved and still able to support Raider Athletics during this global pandemic” said Boys’ Basketball Coach Jerry Kline ’93. “We are excited to be back playing and even more excited that our community can be right there with us.”

Live Streams Through YouTube

CDH has also purchased a Hudl Focus, which is a self-operating camera that will record all activities in the Joe Mauer Field House, thus eliminating the need to have a student manager film games and/or practice. That film will be shared with our opponents, eliminating their need to have a manager film games as well. This will also allow us to live stream home games that are not streamed through PrepSpotlightTV for free through our YouTube channel.

Subscribe to the CDH Athletics YouTube channel to be notified when games are streaming on YouTube.

“Hudl Focus is just another example of our goal to continually improve our technology in athletics,” said Athletic Director Phil Archer ’99. “Hudl Focus provides another tool as we navigate through this global pandemic, as we will be able to accurately contact trace should we need to with the filming of our games and practices.”
