How has your high school experience impacted your life?

My high school experience was a great one.  I think the biggest impact it has had, is the confidence it built in me to pursue studies in science in college and beyond. Also, it seeded an interest in literature and the arts.

What advice would you give a current CDH student?

Try different subjects and find areas that interest you, whether it is the arts, or science, whatever it may be, and talk with those teachers and staff who also have those interests. They can support you in finding opportunities to further pursue your passions.

What does being a graduate of Derham Hall mean to you?

I'm proud to be a graduate of Derham Hall.  My experiences there formed the basis for everything in my life that came after.

What is your favorite memory of high school?

Going to the Guthrie Theater as part of Mrs. Dokken's Shakespeare classes! That was a fantastic experience.

Why is it important to you to support our school?

It helps me to give back in some measure for what I received while attending Derham Hall. It also helps me stay connected to the Twin Cities as I now live in Pennsylvania.
