Parents' Association Helps Build Community

March 29, 2023

Cretin-Derham Hall is lucky to have a strong community of parents who gather monthly to plan events throughout the school year. Most of these events revolve around showing appreciation and building community. To many, these events are considered the most memorable times from their years at CDH and are what make this school so unique.

The most recent of these events was the Father/Daughter Dance at A'bulae in St. Paul on March 24. This is always a popular event and this year was no exception. According to Kara Lomen, one of the Parents' Association volunteers for this event, "The event was very successful! We loved having the event at A'bulae and the food was great!" The photos speak for themselves about how much fun was had on this special evening. Michael Murray '97, a professional photographer and graduate of CDH who remembers these events himself, was at this event and is often at these events to take photos and offer them for sale.

Upcoming events include Father/Son on April 23 and the Grandparents' Mass on April 26. Faculty/Staff Appreciation Events happen throughout the year and include things like dinner on the evening of conferences. See below for a full list of events put on by the Parents' and Grandparents' Associations. They are alway looking for new members, so take a look at their web page and fill out the contact form if you are interested in getting involved.
