Renowned Author William Kent Krueger Visits CDH 9th Graders

William Kent Krueger, renowned author, came to CDH on October 27 to speak to 9th graders in the Lillian Theater. They listened to him talk about his writing, including his novel "This Tender Land," which they have been reading in class. Many of the students had questions for him about his writing and the characters in his books and he had endless thoughtful and engaging answers.

Krueger is known for his novels that are set mainly in Minnesota. He has a very successful series "The Cork O'Connor Mysteries" and his stand-alone book "Ordinary Grace" won the Edgar Award for Best Novel of 2013. His newest book, "The River We Remember," just came out recently.
