Dear Parents and Guardians,
Congratulations to our Boys Swim and Dive Team and our Boys Hockey Team, who both earned their way to the MSHSL State Tournaments. We also celebrate our Mock Trial Team and our Math Team who earned their way to their state competitions. It is rewarding to share the student body’s enthusiasm and spirit after two long years of pandemic restrictions. Our celebrations and pride extend well beyond these activities and athletics. Please take the time to read this issue of the Communicator to learn all about our students’ accomplishments this past month. Go Raiders!
Our central theme during this holy season of Lent is healing. Thank you to our campus ministers who have designed prayerful and thoughtful reflections throughout this season. Each week our community will focus on different aspects in our lives where we need healing—self, relationships, family, community, CDH community, and God.
I invite everyone in the CDH Community to join our students, faculty, and staff on this journey of healing. We have all experienced pain and brokenness amidst the tragic events these past few years. Each and every one of us deserves healing and I believe we are hungering for it in our personal lives and as a community. I have faith in the members of this CDH community that amidst God’s grace and forgiveness, we will support one another in our recovery as individuals and restore our shared commitment to this incomparable school community.
I pray that everyone within our community experiences God’s healing presence during Lent and that our students, staff, and families find time for rest over this spring break.
Sincerely,
Mona Passman, Principal
