Save the Date! Silver Belle Ball - Tuesday, December 26

Cretin-Derham Hall Parents' Association is excited to take over the organization of the annual Silver Belle Ball, which will be held from 8:00-11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.  The formal dance has been run by the Sisters of St. Joseph Academy Alumni Association since 1950.  All profits have traditionally gone towards grant-in-aid for students with demonstrated need.  This will continue under the Parents' Association.  We will continue the tradition of inviting the students of neighboring Catholic schools to attend as well.

This year the event will be downtown St. Paul at The Great Hall. The format of Silver Belle will again be girls-ask-boys (no freshmen girls or boys, please), and we hope all upperclassmen will attend! The registration link will be available soon on the CDH website.

Senior Lock-In - Wednesday, May 30

The Senior Lock-In is Wednesday, May 30, 2018, following Commencement. This is a fun, post-graduation event for our graduating seniors. We are organizing our committees now and are looking for committee chairs. Please note, this invitation is open to all parents, whether you have a freshman, sophomore, junior and/or senior!

We have several Committee Chair positions available: Treasurer, Junior Parent Volunteer Chair, Senior Parent Volunteer Chair, Clean-Up Chair, Raffle Chair and Security Chair.

We have a kick-off meeting on Wednesday, November 8 at 6 p.m. in the teacher’s lounge for anyone interested in chairing a committee or volunteering. The time commitment varies but generally no more than 5-10 hours a month (January-April) and 15-20 hours during the month of May.

If interested in any Committee Chair position or any type of Senior Lock-In volunteer opportunity, please contact Kristina Parker

The Raffle Committee is looking for donations for raffle prizes during the event.  Sample prize donations include: airline vouchers, summer sporting or concert event tickets, gift cards, Beats headphones, Yeti coolers. If you would like to donate, please contact Victoria Pindred.

The Lock-In Food Committee is looking for donations of food from restaurants and stores. If you can help (or have a contact with a local vendor) in donating food or funds, please contact either Kathy Weyandt or Jenny Vinck.

We are looking forward to a fun and safe event for all our seniors.

Parents' Association Dues & Fundraising

Parents' Association Dues

Thank you for supporting the CDH PA. The Parents' Association plans and runs many fun events throughout the course of the school year. In order to continue these wonderful traditions and be able to include all of our CDH family, we ask that each family contribute $30 annually in support of the Parents' Association.  This will help us to keep the cost of attendance at PA events affordable for all and allow us to continue to plan and execute the great traditions that we have been able to enjoy for so many years. To find more information on how to contribute your $30, please visit the Family Parents' Association Dues. Thank you for your participation!
