Admissions Going Strong Amidst Unusual Circumstances

As COVID-19 restrictions render many of our traditional Admissions processes - visiting Catholic grade schools, shadow days, and more - difficult or impossible, the Admissions team is coming up with creative solutions to connect with the Class of 2025. 

Led by Sean Van Gemert '96, the team is excited to build these connections in new ways.

Last year, we switched to a small-group model for Parent/Family Tours, rather than a single open house. The new model allows parents to see a school day in action, and have an individual conversation with the Admissions Director. These tours will continue to take place, with even smaller groups.

Since local Catholic grade schools will not be holding info days this year, CDH has created a brief video that will be shared with all 8th graders. We hope this video will grab their attention and encourage them to think about becoming a Raider.

The team is also in the process of planning a Virtual Open House for potential Raider families. Stay tuned for more information!
